Protect your smile with a custom sports mouth guard
Sports guards
Custom-fitted sports guards from Bath Spa Dentistry, made from a comfortable digital scan rather than a messy impression.
Comfortable, custom-fitted sports mouth guards
Whether you play rugby, football, or another contact sport, a properly fitted mouth guard protects your teeth and gums from impact. At Bath Spa Dentistry, we take digital scans of your teeth rather than traditional impressions, so your custom gum shield is secure enough to trust, and unobtrusive enough to forget you're wearing it.
With Bath Rugby such a popular local sport, we see plenty of players through our doors, but we're always glad to help protect your smile, whatever your sport.
What is a sports mouth guard?
A sports mouth guard (sometimes called a gum shield) is a custom-made device worn over your teeth during contact sports or training. They cushion against impact, which reduces the risk of chipped, cracked, or knocked-out teeth.
How much does a sports mouth guard cost?
The cost of a custom sports mouth guard can vary, but it is usually far less than the cost of treating a dental emergency caused by contact sports.
We recommend getting a custom gum shield from a dentist, rather than a boil-and-bite sports guard, because our custom-fitted guards offer a far more secure, comfortable fit.
