Dental bridges at Bath Spa Dentistry

A dental bridge fills the gap left by one or more missing teeth, anchored to the natural teeth or implants on either side.

Robbie Thompson, Emmanouil Pagoulatos and Aziz Ghanim Aziz all provide dental bridges at Bath Spa Dentistry, using our Intraoral scanners to plan your bridge from a digital 3D scan rather than a traditional mould.

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth, made up of a false tooth (or teeth) held in place by crowns fitted onto the natural teeth either side of the gap, or onto dental implants.

Unlike a denture, a bridge isn't removable, so it stays in place day to day, functioning much like your natural teeth for eating and speaking.

How much does a dental bridge cost?

Investing in a dental bridge can improve your confidence in eating, speaking, and smiling. The cost of a dental bridge can vary, depending on how many teeth you need to replace, and whether your bridge will be anchored to crowns or implants.

We offer 0% finance to help you spread your investment over time, so a Β£1,200 bridge, for example, could work out at Β£100 a month over 12 months. We also offer longer periods at 9.9% APR.

Getting a dental bridge at Bath Spa Dentistry

Consultation and scanning

We'll assess the gap and the surrounding teeth, and take a digital scan using our Intraoral scanners to plan your bridge.

Preparation and fitting

The supporting teeth are prepared if needed, and your bridge is fitted and checked carefully for fit and bite.

Aftercare and reviews

We'll check your bridge is settling well and advise on keeping it, and the teeth around it, clean and healthy.

Do I need a dental bridge?

A dental bridge may be right for you if you're missing one or more teeth and want a fixed, non-removable replacement rather than a denture or implant. It relies on the surrounding teeth (or implants) being strong enough to support it, so a consultation will confirm whether a bridge is the best option for replacing your missing teeth.
